And who am I?

Hi, I’m Leila Oberdorfer - head designer and planner here at Brilliant Event Design. When it comes to your wedding I believe you should be able to focus on you, your partner, and your treasured guests and leave the logistics to someone else. 

I’m a designer with a passion for creativity, but as much as I draw from my artistic right brain, you could say I’m brain ambidextrous and can draw from my analytical left brain when planning and problem solving (all while staying calm and composed.) Above all, I make sure the final designs are reflective of YOU - my clients. 

I believe that while planning and logistics can make or break an event, you shouldn’t be the one having to deal with vendors or time lines, or creating a floorplan (mine are computerized and to scale) when you’ve never done this before. I believe you should be the guest of honor and get to enjoy every minute of the day. Let me handle the event while you get to be carefree and fully engaged in the telling of your love story. 

Weddings are so much more than just an event. They are a celebration of joining two lives together. They are the culmination of your love and the expression of that love to your friends and family. They are a journey that combines two families in perfect polished style. That’s where I come in. Planning a wedding goes beyond choosing a color scheme and flower arrangements. Your wedding can be a story about who you are and the love you share with one another. My specialty is infusing weddings with the style and personality of my clients. 

I believe that even just the tiniest added details can create memories that you’ll treasure for a lifetime. In other words, I put YOU in your wedding (and your spouse to be too!). I love combining unexpected things, creating new styles instead of just following trends, and making sure that above all, your wedding is something you will cherish forever.
